 The Zurn Flo-Thru seminar discusses the main issues any designer considers when assessing drainage concerns on any given project, such as function, aesthetics, price, ease of installation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and describe the function and components of a trench drain.
  • Compare and evaluate the advantages/disadvantages of different trench drain channel materials, grates and outlets.
  • List and discuss trench drain design considerations and criteria including ease of installation, load-bearing strength, hydraulics, chemical resistance and structural requirements.
  • Specify the appropriate functional trench drain system for a specific application, architectural or civil project, while maintaining required aesthetic qualities.
